How’ve yall been? I’ve been alright. Ok actually that’s a lie. My mental health has deteriorated greatly this past year and I’m finding it extremely difficult to maintain any sort of relationship with the people in my life. Like most of you I’ve been going through some hard times - living in my car and couch surfing before I found a place of my own (which I’m very grateful for!) - I’ve been in and out of CAMH a few times and I’m on a new cocktail of medications - I’m no stranger to this way of life - I was practically born into it. It’s not something I’ve ever liked to talk about so directly or publicly - I really don’t like the attention that it brings - but it is a part of my story and a big factor in what drives me to make my art -

Speaking of which, I’ve decided to finally release my first full length album - a compilation of demos, live recordings, and rehearsals that I’ve recorded and compiled over the past 4 years, which has taken on many iterations over time (23 tracks cut down to 15). This is not the way I wanted to release these songs, but God only knows when I’ll be able to record them properly, and I just can’t wait any longer - I need to put these out to move on and to begin working on other things, plus I quite like the way this album is sequenced together. Some recordings are more complete than others, while some leave a lot to be desired - unfinished lyrics and mistakes aplenty. Just know that some of these songs reach deep into the darkest parts of me, and they may for you as well. And that’s ok, we all have that side of us and I don’t think we should hold it in or keep it hidden. It is what it is, I’ll let the music speak for itself.

Hopefully in sharing this album and a little piece of my story I can spread some joy, make someone feel less alone, make you laugh and cry and smile. Anyways, the album will be up on bandcamp (link in bio) and pretty soon spotify and all them other streamers. Thank you for everything, I’m grateful for everyone I have in my life. Peace yall.
